New Discography Entries for Recent Releases

half-pint demigod Now Available
(Tuesday, November 29th, 2005)

half-pint demigod, the music of Shawn "Yogi" Farley remixed by Andre LaFosse, and the "missing album" created between Disruption Theory and Normalized, has finally been released, over three years after its completion.

It's not an "Andre LaFosse" album in the strictest sense of the word - I didn't contribute any guitar playing, or Echoplex work - but it's far more than just a "remix album." It's by far the most elaborately-produced and conceptually-complex release I've ever done, and I'm very proud of the work on this CD.

The album is available now, in advance of its "official" December 6 release date, from Wonky Records. For listeners unfamiliar with Yogi's music, half-pint demigod can be purchased together with Any Raw Flesh?, the album it was produced from, as a specially-priced pair.

Read the press release and track-by-track commentaries for half-pint demigod here, and stay tuned for additional notes on the album's creation.

Andre LaFosse plays on the scores for Two For The Money and Derailed

As (extreme) luck would have it, my guitar playing and looping has ended up as part of the soundtracks to two different films opening this fall:

Derailed - Music composed by Edward Shearmur. Starring Clive Owen, Jennifer Aniston, Vincent Cassel, Melissa George, RZA (yes, that RZA). Directed by Mikael Hafstrom. Opening November 11, 2005.

Check back soon for more information, including details about the recording sessions and the final results.
